Moving an Injured Cat |
|
If the cat is in the road, move him to the side if it is safe to do so. Try not to aggravate any injuries when picking him up; the best way to do this is to slide a board under him as a makeshift stretcher, or slide both hands under him, keeping him in a horizontal position. A common injury sustained in road accidents is a ruptured diaphragm, so it is very important to keep the cat horizontal to stop his internal organs moving. << Previous More emergancy situations | Back to Cat Health | Next >> Obesity in Cats - Fat Cats!
