A Cat's use of Touch - Nose Paws Whiskers

A Cat
Cats use their noses, paws and whiskers for examining objects by touch, after having first checked them out by smell. They rarely burn themselves with hot foods or liquids, as they use their noses as thermometers to test for temperature. Affectionate cats will often pat at their owner's faces or bodies to attract attention. Hunting cats touch prey with a paw to see if it is dead or alive. Mother cats often touch their kittens with their faces and paws. Cats also use their faces, whiskers and paws to touch each other.
