Early learning for your Kitten

Begin to handle the kittens from two weeks old, to start the vital feline-human socialization process. At this age, the mother cat will not be too anxious about familiar humans touching her babies. By the age of three weeks, kittens can stand quite well and toddle around on short, unsteady legs. At this stage, they can roll over and right themselves, and play with their siblings with paw pats and bites. By the fourth week, the kittens can move around confidently and can often run and balance well by the end of the fifth week. However, it will he another five to six weeks before they can run, jump and leap with accuracy, balance and co-ordination.
